Women’s Self Defense What is Best Product
March 24, 2010There has been a staggering increase in violent assaults, rapes and murders of women in the last 5 years. With the rise in sexual predators this trend is likely to climb in the future. I have seen a dramatic increase in the sale of self defense products by women on my website. This is good news not because of the increase in sales from my store but because women realize they can take steps to prevent such crimes.
I have been monitoring criminal activities for 30 years and no matter what you hear from law enforcement agencies crime is out of control. As a former police officer let me make this perfectly clear, police cannot protect you. It is true that on some occasions a police officer will arrive on the scene when a crime is in progress but this is extremely rare. It is my opinion that every law abiding citizen should carry some type of legal self defense weapon, especially women.
One of the best self defense weapons for women is the cell phone stun gun. I have reviewed many outside and inside security camera footage of actual crimes against women and believe that in most of these incidents a cell phone stun gun would have allowed them to disable their attacker. Many predators that assault, rape and murder women are not armed, they use the threat of force to subdue their victims. In many cases where the predator is armed there is still an opportunity for the victim to escape harm.
I recently was watching the security footage of a woman being abducted on a parking lot early in the morning. The young woman had driven to the parking lot to open a convenience store. It was still dark, there were no other cars on the parking lot. As she got out of her car a man approached her from behind some trash dumpsters. The man grabbed her by the arm and forced her back into the car, and they drove off no weapon was displayed. A few days later they discovered the women’s body in a wooded area raped and murdered.
A cell phone stun gun is a perfect self defense weapon in this type of incident, or whenever you find yourself in an isolated area or potently dangerous situation. Below is just a few examples.
- You are at your work site getting in or out of your car.
- You are walking in a secluded area.
- You are leaving or entering your home at night.
- You have to enter a public or private garage
- You are getting on an elevator with strangers.
A cell phone stun gun looks just like an ordinary mobile phone. If you pretend you are talking on the phone no one will ever think it is a powerful stunning device. If you have your thumb on the safety switch, and you are assaulted, all you have to do is push the switch to the stun position and stun your attacker.
I only gave a few situations of how a cell phone stun gun can be used effectively, there are many more. I honestly believe that if the unfortunate convenience store clerk had a stunning device and was prepared, she would still be alive today. If you take proper safety precautions, are alert to your environment you can survive dangerous situations..
Remember, most criminals assume women are easy prey and don’t have the ability to defend themselves against an attacker. A cell phone stun gun used correctly will ruin their day and prevent your injury or death.
